In 2025, the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) brings Singapore together once again for Match for Life, our annual flagship event that celebrates the power of saving lives — together. Held at Fernvale Community Club, this year’s event marked a major milestone with the launch of BMDP’s inaugural Corporate Partner Programme, officiated by Minister of State Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, BMDP President Mr Abhijit Raha, and CEO Mr Charles Loh. The moment was symbolised through the formation of the words “WE Can Save Lives” — a reminder that every life saved is a shared effort between individuals, workplaces, and the community. Dr Joanne Lee, a senior haematologist who has spent years caring for patients with blood cancers, never expected that she would one day be the match. When she was identified as a compatible donor, she didn’t hesitate — she stepped forward and underwent peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) collection to give someone a second chance at life. In this video, she shares her journey from doctor to donor, what the process was really like, and why anyone can play a part in saving a life.

The March school holidays have been nothing short of fun for our little ones! At our 4-Day Happy Seasons (快乐四季，陪着你!) holiday programme, our preschoolers learnt about and discovered the wonders of the 4 seasons through fun-filled & interactive activities. First up, say hello to spring! 🌼🌱 The children had a blast creating beautiful garden butterflies for their spring gardens with the use of materials such as beads & pipe cleaners. 🌸🦋 Thereafter, they stretched their concentration skills & flexibility through the various asanas of our spring-themed yoga 🧘🏻‍♂️🧘‍♀️ We ended the season of spring with popping some rainbowed-coloured popcorns! 🌈🍿 Which season are we experiencing next?
